According to the agency, the security forces killed more than 75 militants in the last 7 months.
Pakistan wants to shut down infiltration if he wants peace: General Rawat
– After the Ramzan started, army chief General Bipin Rawat reviewed the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir after the campaign against terrorists was stopped. On the second day of the two-day visit, General Rawat said that if Pakistan wants peace then terrorists should stop intrusion. Army camps attacked on Friday
– In Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam, the terrorists threw a grenade at a military camp on Friday. There was no casualties in the attack on the 34 Rashtriya Rifles camps. Siege of the area was carried out for the capture of terrorists. The militants threw a bus stop in Jammu on Thursday and a hand grenade at Army camp in Bararipora, Srinagar. Two policemen were injured in this attack in Jammu.
On the other hand, Sentry posted on the police post of Wanpoh Power Grid Station in Anantnag district thwarted the efforts of terrorists to snatch a rifle. Sentry fired at the terrorists trying to enter the police post, so that they ran away.
Security forces closed operation in Ramzan
– The central government has asked the security forces not to run operations in Jammu and Kashmir during Ramzan on the recommendation of the state government. According to the Home Ministry, this decision is meant to provide a peaceful environment for the Muslims who like peace. It has been made clear by the ministry that the security forces can take counter-attacks to attack the terrorists or to save the lives of innocent people.
