With the help of a brilliant innings of Man of the match Kushal Perera (66), Sri Lanka made India debut in the Dudha Trophy T20 triangular series by defeating India by five wickets. He first stopped India on score of 5/174 runs and then made the required run in five wickets in 18.3 overs. From his side, Perera, too, scored 22 runs in quick succession. Earlier, Shikhar Dhawan from India scored his best in the T20 and scored 90 runs. Manish Pandey also played good innings.

India started poorly in the match. Suresh Raina made just one run and was bowled over Fernando’s ball. However, Captain could not even open the account. India’s last wicket dropped as Rishabh Pant on the last ball of the innings. They scored 23 runs. Chamira took two wickets from Sri Lanka while Fernando, Mendis and Gunatilaka got 1-1.
