Gudhagudzi : Jamay Jyoti Goshala at Bhodki village has started a unique scheme of adoption for the upliftment of the destitute cows. In which any person can take one lakh rupees once in the house and adopt a cow for lifelong lifting a cow. The amount of one lakh rupees provided by the donor will be deposited in the monthly income plan in the bank. The original amount of one lakh rupees provided by donor for the upbringing of the cow will be safe in the bank. While the deposit amount will be available to the house every month.
On the day of commencement of the plan on Sunday, the migrant donor Shyamsundar Soudliaiah and the sarpanch of the Bharuch sarpanch, Capt. Shivramasinh Gondra, provided one lakh rupees each and started lifting two cows for lifelong.
Half a million people’s contribution
Until three years ago Bhodki used to roam in hundreds of innocent villages of the village. The hungry cow dumped the crops in the farmers’ fields in the night after not eating the stomach of the destitute cows. The farmers had to take care of their fields day and night. Troubled by this problem, the farmers opened fire in Dharma Jodh, for the upbringing of cows, with the help of Janaogogy three years ago. In this gaushala run jointly, 510 cow is present.
In the last three years, villagers of Bhodki have provided public assistance of Rs 10.5 million for the operation of this Goshala. Migrants who have come to Jamui mother have also provided public co-operation of 40 lakh rupees for the operation of the cattle. While the government has received only a sum of 19 lakh rupees during this period.
