The daughters of Ladlah Shahid Sitaram Kumavat of Palsana of Sikar district of Rajasthan, who had martyrdom in battle with the enemy in the Kargil war in 1999, are fighting for their rights with the government system.

 

Kargil martyr Sitaram Kumavat has no son. His 21-year-old Priyanka and 20-year-old Neetu are two daughters. Both daughters were very young at the time of their father’s martyrdom. As both grew up and had knowledge about the martyrdom of his father, both the daughters started preparing for it by making the desire to go to the army.

 

After the government promised to give a job to a daughter, even after the government did not fulfill it, the daughters felt frustration with the government system. Now a daughter has decided to pursue her career in engineering and the second is waiting for a job as per the government announcement.

 

Capture was held on three checkpoints

 

Sitaram Kumavat was posted in Kargil on June 13, 1999 during Operation Vijay. During this time, a team of 18 Grenadiers of Sitaram started firing further after the capture of three advance posts in Drass sector. During this, Sitaram was martyred by a missile fired by the enemy. On June 16, he received information about his martyr in the town. The next day, when the body of the body wrapped in a tricolor reached the town, the entire town was echoed by Jai Ghosh of Shaheed Sitaram Amar Kehar.

To honor Shahadatta, the village’s upper primary school was named after the martyr’s name. But after this the school got merged in another school and the martyr’s name was again anonymous.

 

When the family came to know of this, the people of the family and the village performed along with Veerangna and sat on the dais in front of the school. After this the name of the higher secondary school was jointly named on the name of the martyr with the donor.

 

For this, he has met the President of the Welfare Advisory Committee Prem Prem Singh Bajaur and the District Collector, but he is giving only assurance. Even today, the name of the martyr is not recorded anywhere in the record of Defense Department. In the issue tables issued by the Secondary Education Board, the name of the school is still coming only after the name of Bhamashah Kanhilalal Tambi.
