The jail department has issued a press release to recruit 870 posts of Prison Sentinel. For these posts, applications will be online from August 16th. Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination and physical fitness test. The written test will take place in September or October. The minimum limit is 18 years and maximum 26 years. Written examination will be of 400 marks and physical score of 100 marks. The written examination will be two hours. Objective type questions will be asked in the exam. Successful candidates in the written examination will be called for the Physical Efficiency Examination. Ten times of the total posts will be called for the Physical Skills Examination. The application fee for SC-ST candidates has been fixed at Rs 400.

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has sought applications for recruitment of 12 posts of paramedical staff. The application will be nine August. This includes other posts including dresser, lab technician, dental technician / hygienist, physiotherapist, pharmacist. Selection of candidates will be based on a written examination and interview. Candidates who are successful in written examination will be called for interview only. Candidates will be given first place on temporary basis.
200 posts recruited
The West Bengal Public Service Commission has issued a recruitment notice for a total of 200 posts of the accountant. The online application will be till August 9. Native residents of West Bengal will get the benefit of reservation and relaxation in age limit. Candidates from other states can apply in the unreserved category. Offline charges will be deposited by August 10, whereas online payment can be done till August 9. Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination and interview. Candidates who are successful in the examination will be called for interview only.
